Telemark skiing is the ideal way to enter this silvery world, even if you've never skied before. One of the best ways to get started and see rapid improvement in your skills is by taking lessons at the ski area—and you’ll be in the backcountry before you know it! Experienced instructors will be your guides to the magnificent winter world.

Akakura Yours Inn is closely affiliated with the Myoko Backcountry Ski School.

All lessons are private, and provided in 40-minute sessions. Choose as few or as many sessions as you like; lessons begin at 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30. Lessons for the day can be made during the morning hours; for more information, please see the school website.
